Terms
The short version. DocResult helps you keep and share a record of what happened at a medical appointment. It is not medical advice, it is not a medical service, and the summaries it writes can be wrong. Whether you may record a conversation is your responsibility, not ours.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and WickedSelf LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, at 2810 N Church St #578615, Wilmington, DE 19802. You can reach us at support@wickedself.com.
Which law applies, and where a dispute is heard
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its rules about which state’s law applies.
Any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and both sides agree those courts may hear it.
Nothing here stops you from bringing a claim in a small claims court where you live, if that court will take it.
What DocResult is not
It does not give medical advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation, a diagnosis, or a substitute for asking your clinician. It reports what was said and nothing more.
It is not a medical device, a medical record system, or a healthcare provider. It does not decide anything about your care, and it never will.
If you are having an emergency, stop reading this and call your local emergency number.
Summaries and transcripts can be wrong
They are written by machine from an audio recording, and machines get medical words wrong. Doses especially.
That is why every line is anchored to the moment in the recording it came from, why lines the machine was unsure of say so, and why marking a visit checked means a person listened back rather than that the software was right. Do not act on a summary you have not checked.
Recording is your responsibility
Recording laws differ by state. Some require every person in the conversation to agree, and some practices do not permit recording at all regardless of the law.
We tell you the rule where you are and give you a sentence to ask with, and we record what was answered. That record is evidence of what you asked. It is not a legal opinion and it is not a claim that your recording was lawful. You are responsible for that.
What you may and may not do
- Use it for yourself, and for people who have asked you to help them.
- Share records with people you choose, at the level you choose.
- Do not upload anything you have no right to hold, and do not use somebody else's records without their agreement.
- Do not try to reach records that are not yours, and do not attack, overload or reverse the service.
- Do not resell it or offer it as your own service.
Your account
You need an email address. There is no password: we send a code to your email each time you sign in. A phone number is never required. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who controls it can reach your records.
If somebody set the account up for you, ownership can be handed over. Nothing moves until you accept it, and afterwards they remain as a family member unless you remove them.
Your records belong to you
You keep every right in what you put in. We claim nothing beyond the permission needed to store it, show it to you, and deliver it to the people you share it with.
You can export everything or destroy everything from Settings. Deletion is permanent, and we cannot undo it for you afterwards.
Reminders
Reminders are a convenience and not a guarantee. They depend on your phone, your network, your email provider and your notification settings, any of which can fail. Do not rely on DocResult as the only thing standing between you and a dose.
Paying for it
DocResult is free to use while it is being built, and nothing on the site takes a payment today. If that changes, the price and any trial period will be shown to you before you are asked to pay, and again before any payment is taken. We will never charge you an amount we have not shown you first.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges. Your records stay yours either way, and you can export them or delete them whether you are paying or not.
If a charge looks wrong, write to support@wickedself.com and we will look at it.
Paying for someone does not let you see their records
Somebody else can pay for your subscription. A son or daughter often will. That is the only thing paying does.
Whoever pays gets no access to the records, no notifications about them, and no say in who else can see them. Access comes from an invitation the account holder sends, at a level the account holder chooses, and it can be withdrawn by them at any time. Paying is not consent, and we will not treat it as consent.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting everything. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to hold somebody else’s records without their agreement, and we will tell you why.
If we ever shut the service down, we will give notice and a way to export before anything is deleted.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we specifically do not promise that a transcript or summary is accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed appointments, medicines or follow-ups.
Our total liability for any claim, or for all claims taken together, is limited to one hundred dollars.
Some things cannot be limited and we are not trying to. Nothing above limits our liability for fraud, for gross negligence, for wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
